In this role, you will support day to day revenue cycle operations and play a key part in ensuring accurate charge capture, claims processing, and timely reimbursement across assigned specialties. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented billing professional who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.* Location: 100% onsite in Larkspur, CA* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am to 5pm (slight flexibility possible)* Pay Range: $23–$27/hour (DOE)* Start Date: Within 1-2 weeks of offer* Employment Type: Temporary (6+ months) with potential to convert to permanent* Background Check: Clear criminal background check and drug screen (including cannabis)Medical Billing Specialist Responsibilities:* Coordinate full cycle medical billing for assigned specialties* Ensure accurate charge capture and reconciliation of billing activity* Review and work revenue cycle work queues on a daily basis* Prepare, review, and submit claims and itemized bills with a high level of accuracy* Perform quality control checks to support prompt and correct payment* Serve as a billing resource to clinical and non-clinical staff* Communicate with coding vendors regarding procedures as needed* Review billing and reconciliation reports and escalate discrepancies appropriately* Support process improvements and maintain strong attention to detail* Perform related duties as assignedMedical Billing Specialist Qualifications:* Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience* Strong working knowledge of ICD 10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding* Experience with insurance payors, eligibility, and prior authorizations* Familiarity with Epic/Apex or similar billing systems preferred* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)* Coding certification preferred (not required)* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet daily deadlinesApply at #J-18808-Ljbffr Sfbayhcc
