Purchasing Manager

Role You Will Play As the Purchasing and Logistics Manager, you will lead the end-to-end procurement and logistics functions to ensure material availability, cost competitiveness, and the efficient movement of goods. You will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier performance, and optimize logistics operations to support production and customer delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute purchasing and logistics strategies aligned with revenue targets and production plans. Lead sourcing initiatives, conduct annual contract negotiations, and own long-term supplier relationships to secure favorable pricing. Manage inbound and outbound transportation while optimizing freight strategies and carrier selection. Identify cost-saving initiatives and track KPIs for supplier performance and logistics efficiency. Lead and develop the purchasing and logistics team by establishing clear roles and providing ongoing training. Support inventory management strategies to balance working capital and improve inventory accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in purchasing or logistics, within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience leading or supervising a team. Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and S&OP processes.
