We are seeking an ECS DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, automating, and supporting enterprise content management platforms using OpenText xECM, SAP S/4HANA integrations, AWS cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in OpenText Extended ECM, Documentum administration, AWS cloud services, SAP integrations, Terraform automation, and DevOps engineering, along with a passion for scalable enterprise cloud and content management solutions.

Job Description:


Trilyon is seeking an experienced ECS DevOps Engineer to support enterprise content management and cloud infrastructure initiatives involving OpenText xECM, Documentum, SAP S/4HANA integrations, and AWS cloud platforms. The ECS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, automating, and validating enterprise ECM solutions using Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies, and cloud-native AWS services.


The ideal ECS DevOps Engineer will possess strong expertise in OpenText Extended ECM for SAP, Documentum administration, AWS infrastructure, Terraform automation, CI/CD delivery pipelines, and SAP integration architecture. This role requires close collaboration with infrastructure teams, SAP teams, DevOps engineers, application teams, and global stakeholders across multiple enterprise programs.


The ECS DevOps Engineer will support enterprise deployments of OpenText xECM and Documentum environments, including configuration, administration, integrations, automation, security, disaster recovery, monitoring, and high-availability implementations. Candidates should also have strong experience supporting SAP ArchiveLink, SAP DMS, and enterprise document management workflows.


The ECS DevOps Engineer will lead cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation while implementing reusable automation frameworks for multi-environment deployments across AWS cloud environments. Strong expertise in AWS ECS/Fargate, Docker containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native monitoring tools is essential for this position.


The ECS DevOps Engineer should also possess strong troubleshooting, analytical, scripting, communication, and documentation skills while supporting enterprise modernization initiatives, cloud migration programs, and SAP-integrated ECM solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement OpenText xECM infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and CloudFormation)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy
• Containerize OpenText Content Server and related applications using Docker
• Manage container registry operations including ECR and OpenText registries
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and auto-scaling solutions for xECM environments
• Install, configure, and maintain OpenText Extended ECM for SAP (xECM) components
• Administer Documentum Content Server, D2, repositories, workflows, and business object models
• Perform Documentum upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and DQL query support
• Configure SAP S/4HANA ArchiveLink interfaces and SAP DMS integrations
• Set up Content Repository connections using SAP transactions including OAC0, OAC2, OAC3, and CSADMIN
• Implement document linking for SAP business objects including FI, MM, and SD modules
• Perform end-to-end validation of SAP and xECM document flows
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for Dev, QA, and Production environments
• Implement infrastructure security best practices including IAM, encryption, VPC design, and least privilege access
• Create monitoring, alerting, backup, and recovery solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Implement configuration management and secrets management using AWS Secrets Manager and Parameter Store
• Write deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and support documentation
• Collaborate with global teams, DevOps engineers, SAP teams, and infrastructure stakeholders


Required Skills & Experience:
• 7+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of experience with OpenText Extended ECM and Documentum platforms
• 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering
• 3+ years of experience supporting SAP integration projects
• Strong expertise with OpenText xECM for SAP architecture and components
• Hands-on experience with Documentum Content Server, D2 configuration, DFC, and DQL
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations and ArchiveLink configuration
• Experience supporting SAP DMS and enterprise document management solutions
• Strong AWS expertise with ECS/Fargate, ECR, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, ALB/NLB, IAM, and KMS
• Extensive Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Strong experience with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and container orchestration platforms
• Strong Linux administration experience including RHEL, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux
• Experience with scripting languages including Bash, Python, and PowerShell
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration and SSL/TLS security
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, load balancing, and HA/DR architectures
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies


Preferred Certifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• OpenText Documentum Administration Certification
• SAP Certified Technology Associate


Preferred Skills:
• Experience with SAP Fiori document management applications
• Knowledge of OpenText Archive Server and Records Management
• Understanding of compliance standards including SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA
• Experience with OpenText REST/SOAP API integrations
• Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP BTP
• Experience with Blue/Green or Canary deployment strategies
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
