Accounting Assistant

Job Responsibilities Assist with reports to account for payments, bank deposits, and reconcile account balances. Support accounts payable by entering invoice data, manually checking petty cash accounts per property, and recording cost of goods sold for food and beverage. Review vendor statements and reconcile accounts. Post daily deposits for both hotel and restaurant properties. Assist the Accounting Department with bank reconciliations and reports. Perform records management. Assist with month-end closings. Assist the corporate office with any reports needed and other duties requested by management. Qualifications And Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Accounting/office experience preferred. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Works well in stressful situations and maintains composure under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Detail oriented. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) required. Must pass background check and drug test. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit for prolonged periods.
