Senior Accountant (Nashville Metropolitan Area)

I am looking for a Senior Accountant to join a high-growth, technology-enabled healthcare services company . This organization partners with community-based clinical practices and is backed by experienced leaders in healthcare, technology, and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the month-end close process, including cross-functional coordination
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial reporting across all practices in accordance with US GAAP
• Partner with corporate FP&A to produce monthly operating reports for senior management, the Board, and leadership
• Coordinate external audits in partnership with the independent accounting firm
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation activities, and ad-hoc financial reporting
• Research and document technical accounting positions and policy papers
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Identify and execute process improvements across the accounting function
• Accounting degree required; graduate degree preferred but not required

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of public accounting experience with a Big 4 or large regional firm
• Active CPA license or actively working toward licensure required
• Proven knowledge of GAAP, FASB, PCAOB, and SEC regulations
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Workday or other ERP platforms a plus
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, geographically distributed team
