Housekeeping and Laundry Director

Housekeeping & Laundry Director Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing Full-Time Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping & Laundry Director to lead our Environmental Services Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments. Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping and laundry staff. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including infection control and safety standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and quality assurance programs. Maintain adequate inventory of housekeeping and laundry supplies. Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds are clean, organized, and well-maintained. Manage departmental budgets and control expenses. Respond promptly and professionally to resident and family concerns. Participate in facility surveys and regulatory inspections. Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment. Qualifications: Previous housekeeping or environmental services leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Hospital, or healthcare setting preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control, sanitation practices, and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgeting.
