Be part of a team that's committed to service, innovation, and community.Job SummaryThe Heavy Equipment Operator - Sanitation handles large equipment at the landfill such as motor graders, excavators, dozers, compactors, articulating dump trucks, etc. to contribute to the daily operations of the landfill and serve the citizens of the surrounding areas.Job DescriptionMinimum Qualifications:Two (2) years of experience operating heavy motorized equipment OR off-road equipment used in excavation, construction, landfill, or waste collections (e.g. wheeled loader, static boom, excavator).Equivalency:One (1) year of experience in waste disposal operations will meet the experience requirement.License:Valid driver's license and good driving record.Salary Range$24.39 - $27.71The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.City of Dallas is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
