What you'll do

• Interpret technical drawings and electronic work instructions to plan and execute tasks without defects.
• Identify and stage correct parts, tooling, and equipment for each job.
• Install aircraft systems: tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, ducts, interiors.
• Perform wiring tasks: route harnesses, secure to supports, and complete hookups/mating connections.
• Execute fiber optic cleaning, inspection, light-loss testing, routing, and installation.
• Apply chemicals and protective materials: solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, special finishes.
• Operate mechanical lifts (ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts) and use hand/diagnostic tools (screwdrivers, ratchets, powered drivers, multimeters, continuity testers).
• Work safely around energized sources and in confined spaces with appropriate PPE and respirators.
• Inspect work quality, remove FOD, and record results using production computer systems.

Must-have qualifications

• Ability to work first, second, or third shift as business needs require.
• Physical capability to: bend/extend neck and back; handle; kneel; bend at waist; reach overhead; rotate head/neck; stand; twist; walk; climb/balance (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces); crawl; crouch/squat.
• Lift/carry 10–35 lbs.
• Comfort working with high-hazard chemicals using provided PPE.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications, if required.
• 1+ year using software (internet, email, Microsoft Office, or specialized apps).
• 1+ year following detailed work instructions and reading blueprints/drawings/specifications ; successful English-language training and math assessments.
• 1+ year in manufacturing/technical/mechanical work (including equivalent military) using hand, power, and/or pneumatic tools.

Preferred background

• 3+ years related experience or equivalent education/experience blend.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, aerospace, or equivalent military service.
• 3+ years installing aircraft systems/components.
• 3+ years Automotive/Diesel/Heavy equipment mechanical experience.
• 3+ years wire routing/dressing and connection work.
• 3+ years applying sealants per spec.

Physical environment

• Work around energized equipment and constant noise.

Compensation and benefits

Program specifics vary by factors such as location, hire date, and collective bargaining agreements. Pay is determined by experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

• Summary pay range level B: $54,000 - $64,000
• Summary pay range level C: $61,200 - $64,500
