About the Role:

As an Activities Aide / CNA at Palms Care Center, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities, leading recreational activities, and promoting independence and well-being. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans and ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Lead recreational activities and provide social support to residents

• Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff

• Participate in care planning and facilitate resident-centered care

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1 year of experience as an Activities Aide / CNA; prior experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
