Technical Writer II

Technical Writer II The Technical Writer is responsible for executing the following essential functions in support of contract mission. Essential Functions Apply knowledge of test procedures, military standards (MIL-STDs), military specifications (MIL-SPECs), military performance specifications (MIL-PRFs), etc. as well as aerospace and other relevant standards in order to produce technically oriented documentation that meets technical writing principles, and customer standards. Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit technical documents, including but not limited to test plans, test reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and related documents to communicate complex, technical information. Assist engineers in recording detailed procedures for test and evaluation operations. Verify completeness of test data. Compile and manipulate test data, information, and results into test reports. Collaborate with and assist teams of engineers and technicians in product and documentation requirements by quickly grasping complex technical concepts and translating them into readily understandable narrative and illustrations. Write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
