This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts available with a 7 AM or 11 AM start time. Flexibility to work every other weekend or as per schedule preference.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team on a 33-bed med-surg unit featuring 16 telemetry monitors. We maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1. As a Med-Surg RN, you will provide care to a variety of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, bariatric procedures, and conditions such as CHF and COPD.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient vitals and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize telemetry to track cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Educate patients and families about discharge processes and care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Current RN license.
• Experience in a med-surg setting is preferred.
• COVID vaccination required.
