Role Highlights We are in search of an experienced and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist to enrich our dedicated imaging team. In this position, you will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct essential diagnostic procedures, working closely alongside a devoted team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining all processes while demonstrating compassion
- Partner with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Efficiently manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Document procedures accurately while maintaining patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and best practices
- A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- A current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent agency
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong technical proficiency in ultrasound imaging procedures and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
