Social Media Coordinator and Content Creator

We specialize in strength training, speed development, injury prevention, and return-to-sport performance. We’re looking for a creative, motivated individual who is passionate about fitness, sports, and storytelling to help elevate our brand and showcase the incredible work happening inside our facility. Responsibilities

We’re looking for a creative, motivated individual who is passionate about fitness, sports, and storytelling to help elevate our brand and showcase the incredible work happening inside our facility. Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photo and video content during training sessions, classes, and events.
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, Stories, YouTube etc.).
- Assist with content planning and maintaining a consistent posting schedule.
- Write captions that reflect the D1 Falls Church voice and brand.
- Work alongside the Director of Strength & Conditioning to execute marketing campaigns and promote programs, events, and community initiatives.
- Brainstorm creative ideas to increase engagement and grow our online presence.
- Experience creating content for social media (personal or professional).
- Comfortable filming in a fast-paced gym environment.
- Proficiency with video editing apps such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Interest in sports, fitness, or athletics is strongly preferred.
- Photography or videography experience.
- Graphic design experience.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and platform algorithms.
- Hands-on experience creating content for a growing sports performance brand.
- Mentorship in sports marketing and brand development.
- Portfolio-building opportunities.
- Flexible scheduling around school or other commitments.
