Product Demonstrator Part Time

Description Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquire and maintain product knowledge. Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner. Maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements. Responsibilities Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented. Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner. Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product. Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements. Properly sets up and prepares Event Table for execution. Achieves 100% execution on assigned work. Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Completes expense reports as per company policy. Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Ability to access the internet, navigate company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Word & PDF forms. Role is not expected to exceed 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs. Perform any other job-related tasks as directed by management. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination. Computer Skills: Proficient using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required. Physical Demands: Stand and walk during shift; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop; kneel; squat; climb or step on ladder; balance; lift & carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs); push/pull wheeled demonstration cart fully laden; prepare foods and beverages with required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming; present neat, clean and appropriately groomed; retailer dress code requirements in training documents. Language Skills: English primary; bilingual may be required per business necessity.
