Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP)/Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The EP/Cath Lab Tech will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures by operating imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and supporting patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly skilled in fluoroscopy, and committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for EP and Cath Lab procedures.
- Operate fluoroscopy and radiographic equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including device implantation and ablations.
- Monitor patient status and ensure safety throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in OR
- BLS and ACLS certifications, COVID vaccine, TB test
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Cath Lab or Electrophysiology procedures
