About This Role The Registered Nurse, SAFE/SANE Certified position involves providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in collaboration and leadership within a healthcare team. Highlights Location: Manhasset, NY Schedule: Per Diem What You'll Do Assess the patient’s physiologic health status. Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures. Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status. Determine mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition. Assess level of pain and pain management. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care. Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations. Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes. Identify actual/potential patient problems and needs for teaching. Maintain constant vigilance over patient care to ensure safety precautions are followed. Requirements Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty. Licenses & Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required. BLS certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
