Housekeeper (Part-Time)

Job Type: Part-Time

Juniper Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, a proud member of Alliance Health Group, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team.

Our housekeeping staff plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and employees. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of resident rooms, common areas, and other areas throughout the facility. This position helps ensure a comfortable, sanitary, and safe environment while following infection prevention standards and facility policies.

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, and common spaces.

• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces according to established cleaning schedules.

• Replenish housekeeping supplies, paper products, and linens as needed.

• Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens in accordance with infection control procedures.

• Assist with laundry duties as assigned.

• Promptly report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.

• Follow all infection prevention, safety, and OSHA guidelines.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized and safe manner.

• Interact professionally and courteously with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, or similar environment is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
