Assistant Counsel
DGS Office of External Affairs
The Assistant Counsel reports to the General Counsel of the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation and provides legal research, analysis, drafting, and transactional support on matters involving municipal finance, water infrastructure, contracts, and grants. The role offers attorneys the opportunity to develop experience across a broad range of public-sector transactional matters while working collaboratively with internal staff and external stakeholders. Key qualifications: Juris Doctorate and admission to New York State Bar in good standing Up to 3 years of experience in general corporate matters, municipal law, environmental law, or local finance law Efficient management of concurrent legal projects with tight deadlines Drafting, review and analytical skills for legal and regulatory documents Professional written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
