Job Description
OR RN in a 4-room ambulatory/general OR serving adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Must circulate and manage cases across gynecology, podiatry, orthopedic/spine, general surgery, vascular, plastics, ophthalmology, endoscopy and urology. Required skills include blood administration, cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation monitoring, infection control, laser/radiation safety, specimen handling, IV starts, universal protocol, Foley catheterization, wound management, emergency/code response and malignant hyperthermia management. Experience with orthopedic procedures including ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, fracture reduction, laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusion and total joint replacement is required. Equipment includes electrosurgical units, fiber optic lights, Hana Table, robotics and Mako Surgical System.
