Pay: $23–$26 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week; additional hours may be necessary based on customer needs.

Position Overview

Yzer is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our Last Mile team in Houston, TX, reporting directly to the Hub Manager.

The Warehouse Lead oversees day-to-day warehouse and last-mile delivery operations within a pharmaceutical distribution environment. This role ensures all product handling, staging, and dispatching activities meet strict compliance, safety, and quality standards.

The Warehouse Lead coordinates a team of associates and drivers, supports inventory accuracy, ensures timely order fulfillment, and maintains proper chain-of-custody procedures for all regulated products.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Hub Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee daily warehouse functions, including receiving, staging, and dispatching deliveries.
• Coordinate and lead warehouse associates and contracted delivery drivers to ensure efficient last-mile delivery execution.
• Ensure compliance with customer handling standards, including temperature control, product integrity, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Monitor product accuracy, cycle counts, and scanning while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Assign work tasks, provide real-time direction, and support team training.
• Conduct daily stand-up meetings and enforce company safety standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Communicate operational updates and issues to management, including delivery delays, damaged products, and compliance concerns.
• Assist in resolving escalations related to delivery exceptions, customer inquiries, and product discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of warehouse or logistics experience; previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or regulated product distribution strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of last-mile delivery processes, routing, and logistics operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as ECourier or Beans.

• Work is performed in a warehouse setting with regular exposure to varying temperatures.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds are required throughout the shift.
• May involve operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scanning devices.
• Occasional work in outdoor or loading-dock environments during loading and unloading activities.
• Must be able to safely and consistently move and stage products while maintaining product integrity.
• Work takes place in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines tied to delivery schedules and customer commitments.
• Must adhere to all safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
