Food and Beverage Attendants work in our food and beverage "action stations" to both prep for and serve our guests. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in food prep and production as well as service and guest interaction.Major Duties/Responsibilities:Provide prompt and courteous service to Hershey's Chocolate World guests in any one of our food service action stationsPartner with the Production team to complete the prep work appropriate for the expected level of business of the food and beverages offered in their stationsResponsible for cleaning workstations and equipment according to standard operating procedures and weekly/monthly schedulesComplete daily temperature logs; properly rotate, label, and store prepped food items; monitor hot and cold food holding temperatures; and other required food safety dutiesEngage with guests by talking about and recommending Hershey's inspired food and beverage itemsStocking front of house areas to support sell through and provide a strong experience for all guestsMinimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:Ability to work independently and multitaskMust possess (or be able to complete within 6 months) Food Handler certificationFriendly, enthusiastic, team player attitudePerform skills typical of a food service environment such as stocking, prepping, and cleaningAbility to work at a fast pace for an extended periodMust maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standardsMust be able to continuously push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 poundsRequires repetitive tasks which may require repetitive motionsAbility to bend, stoop, and twistGood communication skillsAbility to function effectively as part of a teamMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:Individuals with a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not requiredIndividuals with 1 year experience in high volume restaurant, bakery, hotel, or catering operation is preferred but not requiredWhat's in it For You?Free meal and non-alcoholic drinks for every shift workedFlexible schedulingHoliday pay and the opportunity for annual pay raises50% discount on Hershey Kitchen's and Bakery food itemsEmployee recognition programs, cook-outs, and many other activitiesThe Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
