2026 Salary Range: $89,508-$138,370 Yearly (Includes locality pay)

Who May Apply: This position is open to current 448 Supply Chain Management Wing (SCMW) employees only.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as as a logistics management specialist in support of sustainment phases of assigned systems, programs, or major equipment.

Provides world-class operational support for ground-to-ground, ground-to-air, and air-to-air communication necessary for warfighters to safely and securely communicate to and from designated target/destination. The flight provides sustainment, logistics support, continuous improvement, increased effectiveness and efficiency for common and peculiar avionics systems to include airborne, data links and ground communication radios used by DoD, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Allied Forces.

Requirements:

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

2. Obtain & maintain a Security clearance (if applicable).

3. No PCS expenses will be paid.

4. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty.

5. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.

Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.

2. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.

3. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.

4. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.

5. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
