Phlebotomist Phlebotomy Technician

Job Description

Body and Mind Medical Center, a welcoming adult primary care practice in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood, is seeking a dependable and friendly part-time Phlebotomist / Phlebotomy Technician who can also support front desk operations. This role involves performing blood draws and specimen preparation alongside assisting with patient communication and office administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Candidates should be compassionate, organized, and comfortable working on-site with some possibility of remote administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Draw blood and prepare laboratory specimens accurately and safely
Greet patients and assist with front desk duties
Schedule patient appointments efficiently
Verify and process insurance information
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Support daily office operations to maintain a smooth workflow

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in phlebotomy
Phlebotomy certification
