Provide therapy services, monitor progress, and document outcomes. Collaborate with patients and care teams to deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care. Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment and follow safety protocols. Qualifications What We're Looking For Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Current State Licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required BLS/CPR Certification required While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply. Physical Requirements What you need to know A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
