About the Position

• Requirements: Board Certified, Active Illinois License, ACLS. 
• Schedule: The ideal candidate can provide a combination of daytime coverage (8a–4p) and overnight call (4p–8a), with weekend 24-hour call as needed. Providers who can cover both day shifts and night call are strongly preferred. If you have a provider who is only interested in day shifts, that is fine as well. We will not accept providers who are only available for night call.

• New medical oncology practice 
• APP Support 
• Provide direct patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up care
• Conduct hospital rounding as needed
• Collaborate with the in-practice Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for consults, follow-ups, orders, and patient management
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary cancer team
• Provide coverage when the PRN Medical Oncologist is not on-site
