Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Lead

Tidewater Staffing is currently seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associates to support busy industrial and warehouse operations throughout the Hampton Roads area. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, safety-minded, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments handling inventory, materials, and outgoing shipments.

We’re looking for team members who can help keep operations moving efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and materials
• Prepare outgoing orders for shipment and delivery
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping documentation
• Assist with warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse protocols at all times
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet operational goals

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or industrial experience preferred
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance are important
• Basic computer or inventory system experience is a plus

Big Plus Qualifications

✔ Forklift certification or previous forklift experience
✔ Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish)
