Job Description Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and work as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. How you will contribute Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, medical history interview, acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE). Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including developing standing orders and coordinating donor transport to emergency care facilities. Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for findings requiring guidance on medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility. Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation needs in accordance with occupational health and EHS guidance. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of local pandemic threats. What you bring to Takeda High‑school diploma or equivalent, including graduate‑equivalent nursing program with state requirements. Current state license or certification: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years of clinical or hospital experience. Compensation & Benefits U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $24.32 – $33.44. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. The wage will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements.
