Our plumbing company has experienced continued growth throughout the years, and we need to add more residential plumbers. Salary is $25-$35 an hour, dependent on experience. You will not be considered for this position without a resume OR residential plumbing experience . Job Summary:

The residential plumber will install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial structures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure all installed systems pass inspections.

·         Communicate with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.

·         Manage a work log.

·         Ability to complete paperwork, collect customer payments and effectively communicate.

·         Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.

·         Ability to complete various plumbing tasks, i.e., solder, climb a ladder, lift, utilize sewer machines, dig, work in tight spaces, work indoors/outdoors, and in inclement weather.

·         Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted, all while being accomplished in a safe and effective manner.

·         Lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions by providing an extraordinary customer experience.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations.

·         Strong time management, organizational and analytical skills.

·         Work independently and collaboratively with a team, suppliers, vendors, and customers.

·         Comprehensive knowledge in installations, maintenance, and repairs of pipelines and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in residential and commercial structures.

Schedule:

·         8-hour shift

·         Day shift

·         Monday – Friday

·         Must be available for on-call rotation, which includes weekends.

Education and Experience:

·         A High School Diploma or GED (Required) .

·         Minimum five years’ proven experience in a plumbing role.  Experience is a must.

·         Valid driver's license and clean driving record, (our insurer will validate your driving record).  If you are considered “uninsurable,” you will not be able to work for our company.

·         You must be able to pass a drug test.

·         This business uses EVerify.  EVerify is an internet-based system that compares information entered by an employer from an employee’s Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, to records available to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration to confirm employment eligibility.

Physical Requirements:

·         Push, lift, and pull up to 175 pounds, climb stairs, bend, squat, stand for extended periods of time.

·         Work in confined spaces.
