Are you a dedicated cardiologist looking for a stable, long-term position dedicated to non-invasive cardiology? We are seeking experienced and committed providers to join our reputable healthcare team in Baton Rouge. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for physicians interested in building ongoing patient relationships and contributing to multidisciplinary care.

Position Highlights:

• Type: Permanent, non-locum, full-time employment
• Schedule:
  • Clinic work: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Hospital rotations: every 5-6 weeks, with inpatient rounding and consultations
• Panel of Patients: Manage a dedicated outpatient panel for ongoing care
• Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inpatient rounds and acute patient care
  • Perform consultations and multidisciplinary team rounds
  • Review and interpret hospital diagnostic studies
  • Communicate effectively with referring providers
  • Collaborate with imaging and testing teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
  • Contribute to care coordination and follow-up processes

Hospital Rotation Responsibilities:

• On-site inpatient care, including rounds and consultations
• Review hospital diagnostic studies during hospital service weeks
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and communicate findings
• Provide follow-up care and maintain continuous patient management when not in hospital rotation

Clinic Responsibilities:

• Conduct outpatient clinics, manage patient follow-up, and oversee ongoing treatment plans
• Review diagnostic studies and coordinate care with imaging/testing teams
• Engage in patient communication to enhance treatment adherence and satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification/eligibility in Cardiology
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Louisiana
• Valid supervising physician license (if required)
• Experience in non-invasive cardiology preferred
• Ability to hold a supervisory role for Physician Assistants and support staff
