About the Practice
Led by Dr. Bermel with executive leadership from CEO Jeff Bickhardt, Bermel Vision & Aesthetics provides total eye care with a strong emphasis on medical optometry. Our team specializes in ocular disease management, dry eye treatment, Gentle Molding (orthokeratology), PROKERA, surgical co-management, specialty contact lenses, and care for special populations.

Our practices are equipped with cutting-edge technology, including:

• Autorefractors, corneal topography, and wavefront technology
• Digital retinal imaging, OCT, pachymetry, and nerve fiber analyzers
• Visual fields, frequency doubling technology, non-contact tonometry, and LipiView
• Cloud-based EHR and practice management systems for seamless care

Patients enjoy a family-friendly experience with a full-service optical boutique featuring the latest eyewear styles and expert optician support.

The Opportunity
We are hiring a part-time or full-time Optometrist who is passionate about delivering personalized, high-quality care. You will see approximately 20 patients per day while managing a wide range of ocular conditions in a collaborative setting. This role offers significant professional growth through mentorship with seasoned clinicians and the chance to implement new techniques and innovations.

Key Qualifications

• Active Virginia Optometry license (or eligibility)
• Strong clinical skills with a passion for medical optometry and patient education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
