About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified PCU / Stepdown RN in Georgia!

We are seeking experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown RNs for a high-acuity medical stepdown unit in a busy acute care hospital setting.

Unit Details:

Patient population includes: Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and care for patients with complex medical conditions
• Administer medications, cardiac drips, and treatments as ordered
• Perform patient assessments and respond to condition changes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred
