Clinical Therapist

$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available Hallmark Youthcare is seeking applications for a Clinical Therapist, for VA licensed (or licensable) mental health providers. Hallmark is an inpatient psychiatric residential treatment facility for boys & girls 11-17 years old. Program Overview Treatment specialty tracks include: General Psych, Assessment & Diagnostic, Substance Use Disorder. Length of stay ranges from 3–9 months. All patients meet criteria for inpatient mental health services. Trauma‑Informed Care treatment model that focuses on stabilization and reunification with family/community. In addition to the Therapist, the multi‑system treatment team includes Psychiatrists, Physician, nursing staff, caseworkers, activity therapy staff, teachers, and direct care staff. Therapist Responsibilities Individual, group, and family therapy sessions for a target full‑time caseload of 8 patients. Stabilization and crisis management. Clinical lead in each client’s Individual Treatment and Discharge Plan. Professional Benefits and Support Clinical supervision, with opportunities to specialize in single or multiple treatment tracks. Psychiatric consultation. Training and CEU’s. High engagement in clinical and treatment teams. Work with adolescents who deal with Intellectual and Emotional Disabilities. Salary: Paycommensurate with experience, beginning at $72,000 per year. Location: 12800 West Creek Parkway, Richmond, VA 23238. Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Requirements Virginia licensed or licensable: LPC, LCSW, LMFT (supervision available for each). Skills/Qualifications Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, risk assessment, and crisis management. Able to provide weekly individual, family and group therapies. Organizational and time‑management skills to adequately manage all documentation associated with caseload. Competence in age‑related or specialty issues and developmental needs necessary to provide care to the specific ages served. Effective communication with an interdisciplinary team. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality, display maturity, respect, flexibility, diplomacy, and tactfulness. Microsoft Office software applications. Benefits Paid time off. Health insurance.
