Facilities Maintenance Technician

Protech Staffing is hiring an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment at a manufacturing facility in Pomona, CA! Looking for an opportunity to continue building your experience in facilities and manufacturing maintenance? We are looking for a hands-on maintenance professional with 35 years of experience who can step in and support day-to-day facility maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician Manufacturing

Location: Pomona, CA

Pay: $27.00$27.25 per hour | Weekly Pay

Shift: 1st Shift / Early Morning Schedule: MondayFriday | 4:00 AM4:00 PM + OT

Assignment Type: Temporary | Full-Time

Hours Overtime: Available as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and facility-related equipment.
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance and safety issues.
• Complete preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Assist with basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs.
• Replace or repair worn or damaged parts and components.
• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Help minimize equipment downtime and support daily manufacturing operations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Document completed maintenance and repairs as required.

Requirements & Work Environment:

• 35 years of facilities, industrial, or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
• Preventive maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Must be dependable and able to work the required 4:00 AM start time.
• Must be available for overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical maintenance work throughout the shift.
