Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Duration - 13 Weeks
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Women's Services team at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital. Candidates should be comfortable caring for high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced environment.
Assignment Details:
- 13-Week Assignment
- Shift: 3x12 Nights
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Every other weekend required
- Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week pay period
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Required Skills:
- Labor & Delivery experience as outlined by unit requirements
- Charge Nurse experience preferred or willingness to train into a charge role
- Ability to manage high-risk obstetric patients
Licensure Requirements:
- Alaska RN license preferred
- Pending Alaska RN license accepted if the candidate can complete the application process within 48 hours of signing, including fingerprint submission, application fee payment, and application submission
- Alaska RN license must be in hand to qualify for Auto Offer
