Sr Information Operations PlannerThe Ascendancy Group's Mission To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions. Overview The Senior Information Operations Planner position is a full-time position leading, directing, and overseeing the integration of Information Forces (IRCs) into strategic and operational planning, and mission execution as part of Operations in the Information Environment (OIE). This role advises command staff, manages OIE strategy development, and ensures alignment with operational objectives and policy directives. This position is contingent upon contract award. Security Requirement: TS/SCI or TS w/SCI Eligibility Roles and Responsibilities:Provides command-level leadership for OIE planning and execution.Serves as a senior advisor to commanders on integrating Information Forces (IRCs) into strategic, operational, and tactical operations.Leads planning and synchronization of capabilities such as SAP/STO, Civil Affairs, Public Affairs, MISO, EW, MILDEC, OPSEC, and Cyber.Oversees development and implementation of OIE campaign plans, assessment frameworks, and policy recommendations.Engages senior leadership, interagency counterparts, and international partners on OIE coordination and guidance.Recommends adjustments to command structures, force design, or policy to enhance OIE effectiveness.Supervises and mentor OIE staff across multiple commands and task forces.Represents OIE equities in joint planning groups, command-level briefings, and interagency forums.Maintains awareness of current technologies and best practices across OIE.Required Qualifications:Degree in Military Art, Strategic Studies, or related fieldLeadership experience in IO planning at the Joint or Combatant Command levelCommissioned officer, Senior NCO, or senior civilian with equivalent rank/responsibility and experienceFA30 qualification or 14F (Airforce Information Operations Officer) or 0510/0520/0530 (MAGTF IO Officer and Planner series) or equivalent military specialty with demonstrated operational IO leadershipIn-depth knowledge of JOPP, campaign planning, and joint doctrineU.S. Citizen with a current passportPreferred Qualifications:Graduate of JIOPC, Joint Cyber Ops Planner Course, or MILDEC Planner CourseExperience leading cross-functional or interagency teams in a high-tempo environmentOperational leadership experience with OPSEC, MILDEC, Information Force missionsOperational experience supporting the CENTCOM AOR, INDOPACOM or AFRICOMFamiliarity with classified systems, policy development, and strategic communicationThe Ascendancy Group (TAG) was founded on and thrives based on relationships, reputation, and trust.
