Maintains positive relationships with Store Management. Conducts apprehensions within established policies and guidelines. Communicates with store Associates on damage and shrink initiatives. Identifies and resolves internal and external theft. /n /n - Adheres to established shoplifter guidelines and policies /n - Provides timely, courteous and knowledgeable service to customers /n - Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality /n - Observes, apprehends, and/or deters any acts of dishonesty from outside sources /n - Participates in investigations and surveillance as assigned /n - Ensures apprehensions are consistent with store theft activity /n - Completes and distributes paperwork in an accurate and timely manner /n - Maintains appropriate evidence, demonstrates understanding of law enforcement procedures and professionally participates in legal activities as needed (e.g., police calls, etc.) /n - Coordinates and complete shrink related activities in partnership with Store Management /n - Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures /n - Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs /n - Encourages Associate use of shrink reduction resources /n - Promotes safety awareness and supports maintenance of a safe environment /n /n Who We’re Looking For: You. /n /n - Excellent communication skills and sound judgment /n - Basic computer skills /n - Basic time management skills /n - Investigative / analytical skills /n - Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations /n - Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks /n - Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs /n - 0-2 years retail or security experience /n /n /n /n Benefits include: Associate discount; EAP; smoking cessation; bereavement; 401(k) Associate contributions; child care & cell phone discounts; pet & legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses.
