Work Location: Santa Monica, CA, USA Onsite or Remote Fully On-Site Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Posted Date 08/10/2026 Salary Range : $36.49 - 48.13 Hourly Employment Type Duration Indefinite Job # 32102 Primary Duties and Responsibilities As an integral member of the Research Pharmacy team, you support clinical trials and research studies by managing investigational drugs, ensuring proper storage, and handling, and assisting with intravenous (IV) medication preparation and dispensing. You play a crucial role in the safe and effective administration of therapies within clinical research settings. Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm Hourly Salary Range: $36.49–$48.13 (Union represented, step-based salary depending on years of experience) Bargaining Unit: EX - AFSCME Job Qualifications We’re seeking a strong pharmacy technician with: Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California in good standing Clinical Research experience and familiarity with investigational drug protocols (preferred) Previous IV sterile compounding experience (required) Ability to maintain drug inventory Strong communication skills with an ability to work within a team Detail orientated with ability to follow precise instructions As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
