Marketing Manager

A growing high-performance building consulting firm with a strong focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and building performance is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead both its marketing strategy and pursuit operations functions. This is an opportunity for a marketing leader who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and driving strategic growth within a collaborative, mission‑driven environment. Please note: Prior experience working for an architecture, engineering, environmental consulting, or related AEC firm is required. Strong experience managing proposals, pursuits, RFQs, and RFPs is essential. What You'll Do Lead and optimize proposal, pursuit, and business development workflows Develop scalable processes, SOPs, and systems that improve efficiency and consistency Oversee pipeline tracking, reporting, and business development coordination Create and execute the annual marketing strategy in partnership with firm leadership Manage and mentor a Marketing Analyst Maintain proposal content libraries, marketing assets, and brand standards Analyze win/loss trends and pursuit performance to drive continuous improvement Evaluate and implement tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows that enhance marketing and pursuit operations What We're Looking For 5-7+ years of marketing, proposal, pursuit, or business development experience within an AEC firm Proven experience managing complex proposals, RFQs, and RFP responses Strong understanding of professional services marketing and business development Experience building processes, improving workflows, and driving operational efficiency Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution Why Join?
