Registered Nurse – IR/Special Procedures

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures unit serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Manage an average daily census of 25 patients across 4 procedure rooms
• Utilize Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks in daily clinical practice
• Participate in rotating call schedule shared among the team
• Float within the facility as needed within scope of practice
• Work rotating weekend shifts (every third weekend, no more than 2 per month) and required holidays per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (Georgia or Compact license required)
• Minimum 1 year of IR/Special Procedures RN experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Demonstrated experience with Stroke Thrombectomy procedures (required)
• Proficiency in Epic EMR (required)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience utilizing SBAR communication in a procedural or acute care setting
