Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Stroudsburg Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation in Stroudsburg, PA. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met while maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including dishware, utensils, and equipment

• Assist with food preparation, such as washing and peeling vegetables, and plating meals

• Restock supplies and maintain inventory of food and beverages

• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement special events and activities for residents

• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, adhering to regulations and protocols

• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Basic math skills and attention to detail
