Compliance Specialist - Must be willing to travel

The Compliance Specialist supports affordable housing communities by ensuring compliance with LIHTC, HUD, RD, HOME, and Fair Housing regulations. This role is responsible for reviewing resident files and certifications, conducting compliance audits, supporting onsite teams, and helping maintain accurate reporting and regulatory readiness across the portfolio.

What You'll Do:
Review certifications & resident eligibility
Conduct file audits & compliance reviews
Support HUD, LIHTC, HOME & RD compliance efforts
Assist onsite teams with training & regulatory guidance
Help communities stay inspection and audit ready

What We're Looking For:
• Affordable housing compliance experience
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, EIV & Fair Housing
• Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills

Work Hours & Benefits:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with an hour for lunch.

• Benefits: We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, paid time off (PTO) based on longevity, and holidays off.

• Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience.
