Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer is responsible for performing general ultrasound imaging, including vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and patient care. This role involves operating various ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality imaging, and adhering to safety and procedural protocols.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including vascular, OB/AB, and general imaging, using specified equipment.
Operate ultrasound machines such as GE Logic E10s and Samsung WS80A, maintaining optimal image quality.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging services.
Follow departmental protocols for patient preparation, safety, and documentation.
Maintain equipment and report any technical issues or malfunctions.
Adhere to schedule flexibility, on-call rotations, and weekend coverage as assigned.

Qualifications:

Hold RVT and ARDMS (AB or OB) credentials.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of ultrasound unit experience.
Demonstrate vascular experience, including vascular ultrasound procedures.
Exhibit recent EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
Possess reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicle recommended.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
