Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in elementary and middle school settings. This role offers the chance to provide speech and language services to learners aged 8 to 11, helping them build vital communication skills for academic and social success. You'll work closely with a caseload of 35 students across two welcoming school sites, with assignments beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 21, 2027. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience or relevant coursework focused on serving 3rd through 5th grade students Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring Commitment to fostering a supportive, collaborative atmosphere with teachers and families Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Responsibilities & Key Duties: Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students in grades 3-5 Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), tracking progress toward goals Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into students’ daily routines Maintain documentation and records in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and offer expertise in support of student success This contract role features a consistent 35-hour workweek, creating opportunities to develop strong connections with students and professional colleagues.
