Hot End Repair Technician

Guardian Glass is seeking a Hot End Repair Technician in Richburg, SC!The Hot End Repair Technician serves as the plant's technical resource for furnace hot repairs, furnace maintenance activities, and hot-end operational support. This role will work on a day shift Monday - Friday, but on call 24/7. Starting wage is up to $28/hr. depending on experience. Our Team Who are Guardian Industries? What You Will Do In Your Role Support furnace seal-up activities and hot repair campaigns Monitor furnace condition and identify repair opportunities to maintain furnace integrity, performance, and campaign life Coordinate and execute emergency and planned furnace repair activities Support refractory inspections, repair planning, and follow-up actions Coordinate and support roll change activities to maintain safe operation and product quality. Assist in troubleshooting operational and equipment issues affecting furnace, bath, and hot-end performance. Support preventive maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives for hot-end systems. Provide daily technical support for furnace and hot-end operations. Who you are (Basic Qualifications) One (1) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment Experience using a computer and familiarity with technology What Will Put You Ahead Experience in float glass furnace operations and hot-end processes Knowledge of furnace refractory systems, hot repairs, and furnace maintenance practices Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting manufacturing processes At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
