This is a union position.Benefits include:Paid Time Off + 8 company paid holidaysMedical, Dental and Vision insurance options for Employee and FamilyDisability & Life Insurance PackagesCompetitive Retirement PlanTuition Reimbursement – available to FT employees with 1 year+ of serviceEmployee Assistance program (EAP)Additional supplemental offerings and discount programsEmployee Referral Program: Earn up to $1,000 for each referred person that is hiredThe Distribution Warehouse Associate is responsible for following established procedures while carrying out various functions in a manner that reflects the company's commitment to exceptional customer service.ResponsibilitiesPick, pack, wrap and load product for delivery to customers.Ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.Safe operation of all material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.Receive merchandise and stock shelves.Assists with inventory procedures as requested.Participates in physical inventory counts, as assigned, to verify the accuracy of parts on hand.Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.Utilize computerized WMS (warehouse management system) and RF scanners.Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.Making of hydraulic hoses to include cutting, fitting, crimping, and operation of hose assembly tooling.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentProficient in the use of a computer and related softwareAbility to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectationsAble to lift 75 pounds; up to 45 pounds on an unassisted basis, repetitively.Able to work at heights up to 25 feetStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented with a high level of accuracy, and strong problem-solving and organization skillsBasic math skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast paced distribution center environment, and work extended hours as neededAbility to work with minimal supervisionThe ideal candidate has experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) softwareForklift Certification preferredThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
