Description: The unit has a total of 33 beds. Patient ratios are 6:1 during the day and 7:1 at night. There are three techs available per shift, with unit secretaries present during the day shift. Equipment used on the unit includes IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include working every other weekend. Staff may float to other appropriate areas when needed. Patient experience requirements align with hospital-specific standards. Dress code and uniform requirements are in place as per unit guidelines. Unit policies and guidelines must be adhered to. Prospective candidates should note any available awards or recognition received by the department.
