Description:
This is a Level II Trauma Center.
The facility features a 28-bed IRF and an acute care hospital with an average census of 240.
The therapy staff provides services to the entire facility.
There are 17 PTs on staff, including full-time and PRN staff.
Patient ratios are 4 patients per day in IRF and 8-12 patients per day in acute care.
The unit is equipped with 2 therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, and an ADL apartment.
EMR used is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning.
Team conferences and family training are part of the process.
Candidates with hospital or IRF experience, especially those with stroke or neuro experience, are preferred.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, a team player, and collaborative.
Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
