Hematology/Oncology Physician

Position: Locum Tenens Hematologist / Medical Oncologist
EMR: Cerner
Start Date: December 1, 2026 (Ongoing Coverage)
Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days
Schedule & Shift Breakdown- Work Schedule: Monday Friday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch)
- Shift Commitment: Full-time preferred; will consider candidates offering 2 3 weeks per month on an ongoing basis
- Call Structure: Shared night and weekend call rotation
- Practice Setting: Community-based cancer center offering ambulatory clinic and inpatient hospital consults
- Onsite Staffing & Services: Staffed with 2 MDs, 3 NPs, and integrated Radiation Oncology services
- Infusion Capacity: 18 Chemotherapy infusion chairs + 2 Non-chemotherapy infusion chairs
- Procedures: In-clinic Bone Marrow Biopsies preferred
- Board Status: Board Eligible (BE) in Hematology and Medical Oncology
- Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
