Ticketing Operations Manager

THE JOB We are currently looking for a Ticket Operations Manager. The Ticket Operations Manager reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to Ticket Operations for company-owned and/or operated Venues, Events, and Festivals. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Manage event creation within the venue or event ticketing system Collaborate with ticketing providers and company management team for events to ensure ticketing is utilizing the most up-to-date procedures and best practices regarding event builds, marketing tools, analytics, and sales strategies. Develop and implement policies and procedures, as well as internal controls to ensure the accuracy of ticket reports and financial records Work directly with finance and management on ticket reporting and assist with providing data for daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports Assist with fulfillment of ticket requests including internal requests, sponsorships, box seats, season tickets, group sales, artists and event guest lists and other inquiries that are submitted through proper request channels. Oversee the hiring, scheduling, and day of event management of Box Office team members and third-party providers for ticket sales, scanning, ushers, and general customer service. Liaise with the operations team regarding daily operational procedures including ticket scanning, guest service resolution for experiences, and any other operational issues that may arise Assist Festival Management with other ticketing-related duties as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to order fulfillment, accreditation, working onsite leading event week Box Office teams QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 5 years of experience within the event ticketing industry is required Minimum of 4 years in a box office senior management role is required Box Office start up experience preferred, this includes the creation of departmental policies and procedures and schedule creation Strong experience in ticket sales, training, operations, guest resolution, reporting and inventory management Experience within Ticketmaster Host, TM1 and Front Gate including sales, event fulfillment, and event creation preferred. Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in what can be a high-pressure, patron-facing, and fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external associates Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to provide exceptional guest service on a daily basis for multiple audiences and experiences Must be able to work various shifts including late nights, weekends, and holidays SALARY RANGE $48,000-68,000/year BENEFITS Vacation - 2 weeks per annum after six months of employment.
