Job Details Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Charlotte, NC 28277 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 - $2,020 Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: 8 weekend shifts per contract Float: Occasional floating within or near the facility may be required Orientation: 24 hours of unit orientation, plus hospital orientation and unit shifts Charting System: Epic Setting: LDRP / Women’s Services Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery Experience in Mother/Baby and Couplet Care required Experience with LDRP preferred and strongly valued Ability to circulate for C-sections and recover patients in PACU Current RN license eligible for practice in North Carolina or a compact state Required certifications include BLS , NRP , FHM , and AWHONN Intermediate Comfort working in Epic and following SBAR communication standards Strong fetal monitoring, triage, and obstetric assessment skills Flexible team player who is comfortable supporting a range of women’s services nursing needs Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and recovery care Support couplet care, mother/baby education, and newborn stabilization when needed Perform assessments, administer medications, and support IV therapy and blood product administration Assist with antepartum and triage evaluations, including sterile vaginal exams and NSTs Provide newborn care such as APGAR scoring, thermoregulation, cord care, and parent education Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care Maintain accurate documentation and follow established safety and infection-control practices Apply now to join this exciting Charlotte, NC healthcare job and make a meaningful impact in Labor & Delivery.
